ACCESSIBLE INFRASTRUCTURE

  • 5.5 MV Tandem Van de Graaf Accelerator.
  • Four Axis goniometer for the study of crystal channels and RBS measurements. Alignment and coordinates with a laser beam. Available ion beams : H, He, C, O. Scattering chamber PC controlled
  • 4ð ã-Ray spectrometer including 10 NaI crystals.
  • External beam Proton Induced X-Ray Emission (PIXE) apparatus with an xy positioning system PC controlled.
  • Scattering chamber for in vacuum PIXE measurements with pc controlled sample interchange.
  • Scattering chambers for application in various analytical ion beam techniques (Nuclear Reaction Analysis, Proton Induced ã-Ray Emission Analysis, Proton Induced X-Ray Fluorescence)
  • Set-up for the production of monoenergetic neutrons 0.3-12 MeV.
  • Magnetic spectrometer 3Q.
  • High power X-Ray tube with a Mo anode (3kW).
  • Low power X-Ray tube with a Rh anode (50 Watt).
  • Total Reflection X-Ray Fluorescence module.
  • XRF assembly using an X-Ray tube attached with a secondary target.
  • XRF assembly using annular radioactive X-Ray sources (Cd-109 and Am-241).
  • XRF portable units for in-situ measurements.
  • High resolution detectors for X-Ray, ã-Ray and particle spectroscopy including: Ge(HP) detectors with 20-80% efficiency, Si(Li) detectors, Si-PIN crystal and silicon detectors for particle detection. Laboratory and portable data acquisition and analysis spectroscopy systems.
  • A fully equipped chemical laboratory for sample preparation procedures (Åvaporator unit, Freeze drying unit, Mixer/Mill, Freezer/Mill).
